Please note the album will not be available from the UnicaZürn website, and there will be no separate special editions. There are no current plans for a CD release.

 

 

UNICAZURN LONDON SHOW - 1st FEBRUARY 2019

UnicaZürn will be playing at Iklectik, Old Paradise Yard, 20 Carlisle Lane, London SE1 7LG, on 1st February 2019. We will be presenting our new album - more details of which to follow shortly.

UnicaZürn are pleased to announce the release of our new Touch vinyl (or download) album 'Transpandorem', on 27th January 2017 - pre-orders are now being taken directly by Touch at http://www.touchshop.org/index.php or from record stores supplied by Touch and their distributors. Launch event for the the new UnicaZürn LP, ‘TRANSPANDOREM’ (our first record for the long-standing/ever-shifting Touch).
We’re delighted to announce that for this show DAVID KNIGHT & STEPHEN THROWER will be joined by DANIELLE DAX (vocals) and DAVID J. SMITH (percussion).
DANIELLE DAX – singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and mixed-media artist – sang ‘Jack Sorrow’ on the first UnicaZürn CD ‘Temporal Bends’. Her artwork is featured on ‘Temporal Bends’ and UnicaZürn's recent cassette-only release for the Tapeworm label, ‘Omegapavilion’. The performance will mark her return to live vocals after a decade’s absence.
DAVID J. SMITH is a founder member of the progressive art-rock groups GUAPO and STARGARZER’S ASSISTANT (the latter also featuring David Knight), and percussionist with Stephen Thrower’s group CYCLOBE.

UNICAZURN CASSETTE ALBUM RELEASE

We are pleased to announce that UnicaZürn will be releasing a full-length (60 minutes) cassette-only album this year (2016) on The Tapeworm cassette label.

The album was commissioned by The Tapeworm earlier this year, and all tracks were recorded specifically for this release. There are no current plans to release it in any other format.
It will not be available direct from us, but from the Touch Shop and some of their international outlets.

UNICAZURN NEW VINYL ALBUM RELEASED 14th SEPTEMBER 2013 **SOLD OUT**

The new album 'Dark Earth Distillery' is no longer available to purchase from this website. The full-length album was compiled from performances in England, Poland and Germany, and was only available as a limited edition (of 250) transparent 180g vinyl LP. If you missed-out and would like a copy, in the UK Volcanic Tongue, Norman Records, and Rough Trade East may still have a few in stock.

 

UNICAZURN LONDON ALBUM LAUNCH EVENT- Saturday 14th September 2013

UnicaZürn will be holding an album launch event for their forthcoming live vinyl album 'Dark Earth Distillery' at The Horse Hospital, London, on the evening of Saturday 14th September 2013.

UnicaZürn will play a live set, and the album (which is a limited edition of 250, pressed in transparent 180g vinyl) will be available to purchase on the night, at a launch-event-only reduced price.

The live album, compiled from performances in England, Poland and Germany, will be available via mail order from this website shortly - if you would like to be kept informed of release and mail order details, please send an email HERE with 'SUBSCRIBE UNICAZURN' as the subject.

UnicaZürn are also delighted to announce that percussionist David J Smith (Guapo, Stargazer's Assistant) will be guesting with them on the night.
